International Development and Global Research

Cambridge researchers in the arts, humanities and social sciences work collaboratively and innovatively to help solve some of today’s most pressing social, political and economic global challenges. Our key research priorities include sustainable community development, addressing economic inequality, and the preservation and conservation of cultural heritage. We engage with international partners at all levels; from collaborations between individual academics to multi-institutional agreements, including with intergovernmental organisations, businesses, charities and academic institutions. Quality and excellence underpin all our partnerships, which aim to achieve the greatest educational, social and economic impact.

The International Development and Global Research website has three core aims: to facilitate collaborations with academics and non-academics within the UK and globally; to enhance our work with existing international partners; and to demonstrate to our funders and members of the public the many ways in which Cambridge researchers in the arts, humanities and social sciences are working to make a global difference.
