Reporting

Wellcome Trust awards have dual reporting requirements, at the conclusion of the project:

End of Grant Report (EoGR)

All award holders are required to submit a report at the end of their project. The EoGR provides an opportunity to share details of the achievements and implications of the research that the Wellcome Trust has supported.

This report is particularly relevant since Section A of this report may be presented as an annex to any future applications made to the Trust.

This report must be submitted within three months of the award end date; the Trust will withhold 10% of the award budget until the EoGR is approved, including all research publications detailed in the report being compliant with the Trust's open access policy

The template for the standard report can be found here. Public Engagement grants, Vacation Scholarships and Innovations schemes have a different report.

It is recommended that the Award Holder is made aware of the content required in this report, to allow planning for this during the life of the project.

End of Grant Spend Report

This report is required to provide full details on the financials of the projects and to ascertain the level of any final payment due.

It is completed by the Research Operations Office. The report is due within three months of the end of the project - the Department and Award Holder will be contacted at the time to confirm that all expenditure is posted to the project.
